Fouzia Tahir

By profession she is a grant writer, and a social worker. Since 2002 she has been working for women’s empowerment at the grass roots level. She has vast experience in management of programs in a humanitarian relief and development organization.
Mrs. Tahir is an experienced grant writer with vast experience in designing concept notes and grant proposals, building relationships with donor /funding organizations through strong communications. She has improved the quality of programs through evaluations and systematic discussions and meetings with field staff. Being a development worker, she believes in the independence of women and children. This is her strong point that she always wants to see the participation of women and children. As founder/Director of Logistic Assistance for Migrant people (LAMP) is successful organization is the confirmation of her strengths in community development. She also has worked towards building peace building in an oppressed community at grass root level. Mrs. Tahir has been working in Caritas Pakistan Faisalabad for five years as an Assist Head of Grants Manager. She realizes the importance of peace for healthy society and the empowerment of women for a successful community.
